As for Illbliss and everyone who thinks like him, here's a reality check: since 2015, three consecutive presidential elections have shown that South East votes alone are nowhere near decisive in determining who becomes President of Nigeria. That's not an insult. That's electoral reality.

You can rage, complain, grandstand, and throw tantrums from now till tomorrow. It won't change the arithmetic. Political relevance isn't awarded by outrage or social media applause. It's earned at the ballot box and through building coalitions.

Meanwhile, the same people some of you mock and sneer at as "scavengers" will continue to shape the political and economic direction of this country. You may not like it. You may not accept it. But reality remains stubbornly indifferent to your feelings.
