@lockout2027 this is fun as hell and probably a good representation of what the process will be like, except it will be much more hostile and after playing this I’m almost fully convinced that 2027 will be locked out mostly or completely

@OttRichard@SleeperSTL Very unlikely but I honestly could see it happening and that would be so funny. I don’t think he ever criticized the Cardinals for being bad the way he has been trashing the Red Sox lately. Even though he’s arguably been better for them than he was for us at times
@Rinedog1 Marmol said just before this last start that they’re committed to him, and will keep giving him the chance. I think it was an article in the Post-Dispatch. They’re looking for under the hood consistent improvements rather than results. Not sure if he’s accomplishing that though.
⚾ I saved the 2027 MLB season as Commissioner Rob Manfred!

@PattyW_JCMO@The_Ryan_Shull You want him to learn to swing right handed… at the professional level? There’s a bigger chance he wins MVP this year than that ever happening
@SFAClubBsbl Are you guys gonna keep coming back all season? They should fly you all in for every game you can attend. Probably singlehandly bring back a few thousand fans to Busch
No magic nipples for the Cardinals today. Tarps came off, runs didn't come in, Royals pitching smothers them to the tune of a 2-0 shutout that ends their six-game losing streak and avoids a winless trip. Pirates are here Tuesday, Royals going home.
Rainiel Rodriguez will be the first player in their age 19 season or younger to play significant time at the AA level for the Cardinals since the Springfield Cardinals were founded in 2005.
The only other player to play for Springfield in their age 19 or younger season was Ivan Herrera who played 2 games for the Cardinals as an 18 year old.
#baseball#mlb baseball twitter, please, for the love of god, stop clicking on all these screenshots of nameless statcast pages with mysterious captions, they are such blatant engagement bait, and most of the time they don’t even say who the player is in a followup comment
@dgoold I’m originally from Austin, not a Red Sox fan, but I’ll take your word for it on the baseball coverage here!
Definitely love going to games at Fenway.
@joshjaco98 And, I think Albert and Yadi could be the first co-managers ever (that I know of without googling it but having watched all of Ken Burns Baseball) and they’d actually be down with that and it’d be incredible
@joshjaco98 But also as good as Marmol might be at player development, it’s hard to imagine Albert and Yadi not being better after at least a little time to get a handle on all of it. And I think they’d like to be a part of building the next young core.
