The Senate passed a DHS funding bill early today via voice vote to reopen TSA and most agencies amid the 42-day partial shutdown causing airport chaos. But it excludes ICE and CBP funding, which House Republicans demand for stronger border enforcement.

With GOP control of the House, they won't pass it as-is and are eyeing a 60-day CR including those agencies instead. Senate Dems call that version "dead on arrival" without reforms. Partisan impasse over immigration priorities.
