@TrueNYJetGS Speaking as a Tornado survivor , I always tell people to go to a small hall closet in the centermost area of the home or down in the bottom of a closet under all the clothes. Also, keep a big blanket in the bottom of that space. Then I ran across this post.🤣🤣 #SmartPerson

@TheresaMAMAT @NWSFortWorth My dad dig them up all the time with tractors, The Tx. ground is to dry & shifts(settles) so for that reason we dont have basements but you can actually find some homes that do. I have clients that have them but they are very wealthy people who spent the money to have them.
