@copenhenken Welcome to İstanbul Henk! Ferries are simply the best travel mode in İstanbul but even better when combined with bicycles! I hope you have a good time there.
Last week, we hosted a group of engaged students from @Portland_State at @MetroenKBH and I presented my PhD work.
Their questions and interest (especially in the @SaraNAhmed quote I had) made my day!
@johnmacpdx@Portland_State@TRECpdx @moviatrafik @MetroenKBH@trimet@MEltved It was a pleasure! I already wore the TriMet t-shirt to Roskilde Festival, the biggest music festival here, which also has an orange theme :) Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Denmark.
It's hard to believe that top universities in the EU can't be bothered to update their course catalogues. Like yes please tell me more about that one course you held in 2009 it looks super interesting!
@nicole_steller@PhDVoice@PhDForum Having a weekly and daily to-do list, drinking coffee before I arrive at the office to be awake, having lunch as late as possible to not fall asleep in the middle of the day!
@stinelinnemann @OzcanApoet which is not easy when 1) no one is paying for it 2) no one has the dedication to invest in proper PT infrastructure. I suggest that we find ways to make it less necessary for people to travel instead but I don't know how to do so yet! Will hopefully find out soon :)
@stinelinnemann @OzcanApoet That's correct, but still the low percentage shows that this measure only works for people who already have access to public transport, while the rest is forced to keep driving unless they get new lines (cont'd)
