@TheEconomist I've never particularly understood the desire for homes scattered all about. Even if you're very rich, there are lots of very nice hotels--though honestly those don't buy me much most of the time. I can go to museums. First class travel--sure--and getting private car transit.
@RaisinsDEtre@billybinion Different priorities no doubt. I see more shows in London and have a subscription to a small theater in Cambridge MA. I go to museums, walk around. Maybe meet with friends. Might catch a couple shows but it's mostly more important to be near locations/restaurants/etc. in day.
@RaisinsDEtre@billybinion Probably wouldn't stay in FiDi. Yes, I can take subway but very little I'd do down that way. Usually stay in some of the lower/mid-end Marriott properties--Moxy/Aloft--(or Yotel) and they're not $500 but they're not cheap.
@nattywal@billybinion Boston/Cambridge have mostly gotten pretty expensive too. I've gotten very selective about going into town (Boston or Cambridge) for a night or two.
@HmmVryIntrstng@billybinion Midrange hotels and it's getting into that range with fees and taxes though. (Maybe more like $400.) I had a personal meeting in Manhattan in May; stayed one night instead of tacking on a couple extra. In November, going to go down to Manhattan for 5 days rather than longer.

@ashleevance Has Adobe Premiere added anything? They have a fair bit of generative AI and related features in Photoshop. Also some decent features in Lightroom. (Don't know. I use Final Cut when I do video.)
Celebrate those rare occasions when you think you made arrangements that must have been a mistake and then realize there was sound logic behind them--fortunately before changing them.
Too many open source projects consider documentation as an after-thought...but it is the make or break of your project.
Here are 4 practical things every open source project should do in their docs. 👇
Which open source projects have amazing docs as inspiration?
@mattwbaker That seems reasonably on target. We've already seen autonomous self-driving hopes deflate to a large degree. Seems reasonable to expect more and more AI long-term (to the point we don't maybe call them AI any longer). Probably more even longer term.

@massameya There is admittedly more overhead on both sides with air (and with Amtrak you have the option of starting from the southern sububurbs), It would be nice if the Acela were 2x the speed as it's not really a practical trip by rail. Though the two main legs are.
