@jbryanprice @AriDrennen cliques weren't really a thing in 2021 when i graduated from high school. i'm also not just referring to high school. daycare, preschool, and elementary school aged children develop socially in school, that's a big part of it for them.

@jbryanprice @AriDrennen i disagree that "most" homeschool parents know this, every homeschool kid i've ever met is socially stunted, even if they are well educated academically. i'd also argue that public school is almost too structured, i've never heard someone refer to it as "unregulated"

@jbryanprice @AriDrennen you're supposed to raise a functioning adult, that's a basic tenant of parenting. isolating them from developing social skills, peer relationships, and most things they'll encounter out in the world when they are no longer children does not make a functioning adult.

got a new job where my brother works woo. my old boss was apparently paying new hires 2$/hr more than me even though i was a fucking supervisor. dude's literally the walking embodiment of "old rich white guy who will screw anyone over at any opportunity"
