Archimedes second stage engine full duration burn - complete ✅ (and what a thing of beauty).
The AVac (Archimedes Vacuum) engine produces 1.2x lbf of its Stage 1 variant and stands ~2.5m taller thanks to its extended nozzle optimized for the vacuum conditions of space.
Recent AVac testing included a stub skirt for the nozzle. Since full length vacuum nozzles at ground level risk flow separation and instability, stub skirts are used to anchor our engineers' analysis for how the engine will perform with the full nozzle in vacuum conditions - all critical preparation for Neutron's first flight.
Rocket Lab is acquiring Iridium Communications Inc – one of the most transformative deals in the space industry.
By combining our launch capability and satellite manufacturing with @IridiumComm’s global satellite communications network and rare spectrum, Rocket Lab becomes a fully integrated, self-launching, tier-1 space power, delivering critical communications capability to millions of users worldwide.

@synspective Successful SECO confirmed and nominal transfer orbit achieved for @synspective's 'Ten Owl Of Ten' mission. Payload deployment expected within the hour.
Rocket Lab is being added to the Nasdaq-100 Index.
This is a landmark moment for the team. We're incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, and even more excited about what is still to come.
Another liftoff angle for 'Viva La StriX' and @synspective on Electron launch #88.
That's 9 launches with 100% mission success completed for Synspective and another 18 more to go before 2030.
Gas stations in space? We’re working on it! ⛽
NASA is teaming up with Rocket Lab and Eta Space for LOXSAT, a low Earth orbit technology demo to address the challenges of using super-cold fuel in space. Launching aboard an Electron rocket, this demonstration could help shape the future of in-space propellant depots to refuel missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond: https://t.co/cXd5YkIaiV
