Another milestone achieved in Nyejoro Village, @MusanzeDistrict ! Before departing for @CorpsafricaSen for his Exchange Volunteer program, @gilbertmbonimpa implemented a transformative Tamarillo Community Project. As part of this project, 1,700 Tamarillo trees were planted alongside Irish potatoes. Last week, the community celebrated their first Irish potato harvest, yielding 4 tons and generating 3.4 million Rwf ($ 3,000). With the revenue, the community plans to expand their farm from 1,700 to 4,000 Tamarillo trees.
