@YataGlasswerk@PaulSkallas If you want to stay home and not work, you need a doctor's approval.
If you can work from home, you should communicate that with your employer.
If you work in retail/factory, you unfortunately have to work through cold/flu symptoms.
@chice111@PaulSkallas You also have a curfew when on a sick leave and your employer/state official can come knock on your door to check on you and you HAVE to answer.
If you are abusing it, you and/or the doctor can get in trouble.
@chice111@PaulSkallas I don't we do "telephone doctors" here. Usually you won't get sick leave unless it's actually preventing you from coming to work.
Most doctors won't write you a sick note if you have the sniffles. It mostly goes hand in hand with a treatment.
But it CAN be done over phone.
@PaulSkallas Also in prolonged sickness the social system kicks in and you get a financial compensation from your company for a few days, then government support starts.
That is why that is necessary.
@PaulSkallas In Czechia the doctor reports your inability to work online to the government and the government reports it to your employer. No need to run around sick with documents.
Just "calling in sick" has not been option for us for a long time.
@dmitriid Yes. It is difficult to imagine how different is a streaming platform from b2b saas if you never touched it. Yet it seems so obvious when you know.
@KylePlantEmoji Wagyu is meat from a specific breed of cow. There is a lot of meat on a cow which is not as good for steak. Like chuck. Chuck is good for roasts and burgers.
@SophiaNarwitz I live in Europe so the standard might be different. But my therapist would never say any of those things. Especially in the beginning he just sat, asked me questions and didn't opine on much. Let me do all the talking. Which in turn taught me to think and talk about my issues.
