I’m not a big deal & I’m barely on this platform as is, but in a world where we have so little control, we can express ourselves with our wallets and with how we spend our time. So goodbye Twitter! Happy to see my colleagues work in person at #ASHA2022 and other mtgs.
We’re hiring!!! Full time voice/swallow SLP! If you like teamwork, having fun, smart colleagues, and think y’all is a gender neutral pronoun- you should apply! #emoryvoicecenter#SLPro Speech Pathologist II https://t.co/CMJK4Gt7JC
@Toleshouse We use a Shure Beta mic that goes around the head but I’m on the hunt for a stand mic for better ensuring mouth to mic distance and to avoid hair getting caught in it!
@LyndsayMaddenDO@YourVoiceMD Agree it’s hard to know what to do. Meeting is requiring in person attendees to be vaccinated and it will be all masked. ASHA convention requiring the same. Is AAO?
@waberosescott Sorry to hear that! If you need help, please reach out to the Emory voice center. We’re a team of EarNoseThroat MDs and voice therapists who specialize in voice problems. Hope you recovery soon!
Learning some of @brandicarlile best singing/records were made on a constant diet of steroids for persistent #voice issues really has me thinking. And empathizing with her distress about her voice and the anxious/sleepless side effects she reports from the meds 1/2
@LizHellerMurray Now we just need someone to answer!!! I’ll go first- I’ve been using the blue yeti usb mic for telemed and it’s very sensitive. I’ve heard some use that in clinic too.
