We’re pleased to announce that SASC has increased its investment in @PeterBedfordHA to enable this excellent org to purchase more properties for single people at risk of being homeless in Newham. https://t.co/YB68ksmfRi

Our borrower @CCPCharity recently purchased 16 properties they needed to house the vulnerable young people they support. It was their first social investment loan and, in this blog, they discuss what they have learnt along the way.

Delighted to see the hard work of colleagues, and the critical work of our borrowers across the UK, recognised in our impact report. As ever, happy to be working for a company that is quietly getting on with helping charities and community groups keep society going.

Excited to be at the Natwest #SE100 Social Business Awards 2022. Good luck to all the finalists and congratulations to all organisations in the Top 100 social enterprises list this year. Proud to be alongside you. Big thanks to @PioneersPost and @SocComCap
“I’ve gotten older,” he admitted. “I’ve aged from all this wisdom that I never wanted. It’s the wisdom tied to the number of people who have died”. This is an incredibly good article. There’s so much fighting and horror yet to come. It makes most of life feel irrelevant.
TIME's new cover: Over two weeks in April @shustry went inside Volodymyr Zelensky's compound for a look at how the Ukrainian President and his top advisers are experiencing the war https://t.co/9bmZXfvy8e
What a list! We are very proud of our borrowers that appear in this list. We know that they are all women that make a big impact on their organisations.
Congratulations from everyone at SASC.

Great work by @tobylloyd - as ever, both thoughtful and practical. Good opportunity for the new look @luhcgovuk to deliver on some very workable solutions #NoPlaceLeftBehind
Communities are at the heart of a thriving society. It is vital that we consider them holistically and support them in a range of ways. 55 important recommendations from @createstreetsfn in their report - https://t.co/A1halhVy5G #NoPlaceLeftBehind
"Serious public investment" needed in housing to deliver on repeated promises to 'left behind communities'. Social investment can and should be part of the mix. Great to be acknowledged by @CreateStreetsFN in their report. Read it here: https://t.co/PsMoQJuDh4 #NoPlaceLeftBehind
To mark Small Charity Week we are highlighting one of our amazing borrowers - Child Dynamix who has shown such resilience and innovation keeping their children and family support services running during the pandemic👏👏👏https://t.co/fvO7bHCc1a
Last week @SASCapital published its 2020 Impact Report. Our 'investments' are committed organisations working on things that really matter, like climate change and working with vulnerable people. Our report highlights the amazing job they did last year https://t.co/BiqhMgJrwU
4 years ago we were the 2nd intake on the @LSEInequalities masters & I had to repeatedly tell friends why understanding inequality mattered. I'm still making the case but now bolstered by the incredible teaching of John Hills. He was inspiring, clever and kind. What a loss.
Really saddened to hear about John Hills’ passing.
An absolute giant of academia but warm, supportive & humorous at the same time. He supervised my dissertation & gave me the confidence & guidance to keep going.
A sad day for everyone & anyone involved with @LSEInequalities.
It may not be beginning to look a lot like any Christmas we have known before but, undaunted, SASC took on a festive challenge for our staff party.
Gingerbread house construction is tough, especially when there is a tough judge waiting to assess you.
Happy Holidays from us all!
Delighted that Social and Sustainable Housing was shortlisted for the @HomelessLink#ExcellenceAwards2020
