⭕️🇺🇸 Nine U.S. service members wounded in the March 1 Iranian drone strike at Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, which killed six troops on the second day of the Iran war, spoke on the record to the Associated Press about what they describe as a medical system that left them fighting for treatment on their own.
Lt. Col. Arturo Lincón, who suffered shrapnel wounds to his jaw, neck, and spine, including a severed vertebral artery, was sent to barracks and told to seek outpatient appointments after Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany did not admit him. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Rodney Bearman said he and others injured in the attacks were not properly registered as “wounded in combat” due to a coding error. Maj. Stephen Ramsbottom said he waited over four months for MRI results and has “had to build my own case for everything.”
Lincón, who still has shrapnel near his spinal cord and struggles with dizziness, told the AP that, following the attacks, in which his passport was destroyed, he was issued a temporary substitute and asked to prove his citizenship in the process (he was born in Texas to Mexican parents and graduated from West Point). He was also denied a Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance injury claim.
In the midst of all the heartache and heartbreak, our resilience, our remembrance, our resistance, our reverence have not been wiped out—no fascism can do that! Terror, horror, hatred, oppression, and domination may be the dominant history of the species, but they are not the only history! There is always a response to that domination and hatred, and it lives in the dignity people carry even in the darkest conditions—the quiet refusal to be reduced, the insistence on love, the preservation of memory, and the courage to stand for one another! In that sense, dignity itself becomes a form of resistance, a testimony that even in the face of overwhelming injustice, something deeply human endures beyond the reach of any system! #TruthJusticeLove @ResetCritical

The common message of Jewish Rabbis. Anti-Zionism is NOT Antisemitism.
Being against Zionism is never Antisemitism.
Criticizing Israel is never antisemitism.
Zionism is not Judaism.
Israel is not a Jewish state.
Satmar Organizes Many Anti-Zionist Protests Containing Religious and Political Issues and is against Zionism. There are thousands of Satmar Jews who are against Israel and Zionism, and none of them are Zionists.
The Satmar Community, America's largest Hasidic community and consisting of over a hundred thousand Zionist and anti-Israel Torah Jews, fights against Zionism and Israel.
Satmar Rebbe Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum has fought against Israel and Zionism throughout his life.
There are hundreds of thousands of Jews who are against the Zionist State of Israel and Zionism.
The mainstream media, which is under the control of the Zionists, constantly lies to you as if all Jews are on the side of Israel, but this is a big lie. Thousands of Torah Jews in the world are against Israel and Zionism.
Jews are constantly fighting against Israel and Zionism.
Satmar Community is fighting against Zionism in America, Europe and the Holy Land.
The Satmar community is against the state of Israel and will never accept Israel as a Jewish state.
The Satmar community is by no means Zionist and they are constantly fighting against Zionism.
Rabbi Chaim Brisker, one of the greatest rabbis a century ago, once said: “There have been many heretical groups in Jewish history, but Zionism is the worst.
Torah Jews want to live in peace with Muslims and Christians in the holy lands.
as it has been for centuries.
Sister Mary Kenneth Keller was told computers were “not for women”. She ignored it, earned a PhD, and became the first woman in the U.S. to receive a doctorate in computer science, helping shape modern programming languages.
Trump said we had to attack Iran because we can‘t allow it “to have a nuclear weapon.” Really?
This is the same president who, in June, said: “Iran’s nuclear facilities have been obliterated.”
Vietnam. Iraq. Iran. Another lie. Another war.
I’m not speaking as a man with all the answers. I’m speaking as one human heart to another. When the chapter of our generation is written…
when the noise fades and the truth remains,
what side will your name stand on?
Lusia Harris: The First and Only Black Woman Drafted by the NBA
In 1977, Lusia Harris made history in a way that is still unmatched. She became the first — and to this day, the only — woman ever drafted by an NBA team. The New Orleans Jazz selected her in the seventh round, not as a publicity stunt, but because of her undeniable talent.
Born in rural Mississippi, Lusia Harris rose to dominance at a time when women’s sports, especially for Black women, received little recognition or support. At Delta State University, she led her team to three consecutive national championships and was a three-time All-American. Her presence in the paint was so dominant that opponents often built their entire defensive strategies around stopping her — and still failed.
Lusia Harris was also a pioneer on the global stage. She helped lead the United States to a silver medal in women’s basketball at the 1976 Olympics, the first time women’s basketball was ever included in the Games. In that historic Olympic match, Harris scored the first basket in women’s Olympic basketball history.
Despite being drafted by the NBA, Harris never played a regular-season game. She chose family and later coaching over a professional career in men’s basketball — a decision often misunderstood, but one that does not diminish the magnitude of what she achieved. Her draft alone shattered assumptions about gender, race, and who belongs at the highest levels of sport.
Lusia Harris didn’t just break barriers — she proved they never should have existed in the first place. Her story remains one of the most overlooked chapters in sports history, and a reminder that Black women have always been pioneers, even when history tried to look away.

@BillAckman@Israel How about you volunteer to fight for the IDF and also donate your 7 billion to Israel to hire mercenaries to fight with the IDF against Iran.
Pope Francis explains now (contrary to JD Vance) that the Christian order of Love is not an argument for putting family and America first. But instead the radical challenge of a fraternity of love for all WITHOUT exception
It's important to point out that this is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what Jesus teaches in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10), the sermon in his hometown synagogue (Luke 4), and basically every other time he opened his mouth.
Fellow Angelenos,
The devastation to our city and community is unthinkable. The colossal efforts of our Los Angeles Fire Department cannot be overstated, and lives, homes, and businesses have been saved thanks to their unwavering commitment to fighting a good fight. But this fight is far from over. Due to budget deficits in the Los Angeles Fire Department, which left them under-resourced, the inconceivable has become reality.
Los Angeles Fire Chief Crowley and her team of firefighters and paramedics are desperately in need of funding. Today, Tina and I pledge $5 million to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, to be used at its discretion, so that Chief Crowley and her team can continue their heroic work across the City and the greater Los Angeles area. I am calling on all of those who are blessed with the means to give back at any level and respectfully ask you to join in reaching the goal of $20 million in donations for the Foundation.
This funding will ensure essential equipment reaches our emergency responders, including structure fire helmets, personal protective equipment, bulldozers, and multi-functional fast response vehicles that are utilized in both firefighting and medical triage. Together, we can send critical support to the front lines and protect our community from further catastrophe and hopefully prevent another one in the future.
The outpouring of support the city has seen over the past week gives me hope that when we stand together, we win. My family and I are so grateful for all this city has given us and we will always stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow Angelenos.
Let’s stay diligent, steadfast, and committed to saving and rebuilding. Please visit https://t.co/KBj3vETfW4 to donate.
God bless our great city,
Rick
@Riley_Gaines_ Watch the video more carefully! 1 looter arrested was dressed up as a firefighter. You are right about this being morally bankrupt. I'm sure there are many more looters out there using this scheme. They deserve the harshest penalties.
