Life is short. Don't spent it in email! Kelp is a new smart email filtering tool that @gins and I built to save us a bunch of time. Try it yourself at https://t.co/vOhTFqKGAX
Tired of cleaning up the unwanted junk from your Gmail inbox? Check out @trykelp, a new project that @aroetter and I have been building these past few months.
NEW: Kelp is an AI assistant for your Gmail. Tell it what's bugging you about your inbox, in plain English, and it takes care of the noise so you can focus on the mail that matters.
@richchetwynd It's been a somewhat cursed year -- seems like more players saving their energy for the AO and using Auckland as a casual warm-up. A few of the top women withdrew early. Women's finals ended early with Naomi Osaka injury after 1 set. Men's doubles finals cancelled last minute.
The Leader of the Free World must stand unequivocally with free nations defending themselves: Ukraine against the Russian invaders, Israel against Iran’s Hezbollah and Hamas. Soleimani and Nasrallah deserved their demise. Putin deserves our repudiation.
68% of top FB commenters "spread misinformation, reposted in spammy ways, published comments that were racist/sexist/anti-Semitic/anti-gay, wished violence on their perceived enemies… it is clear that a supermajority of the most active users are toxic."

@schnarfed I love that course numbers persist unchanged over decades! Also amazing how sticky those seemingly inconsequential identifiers are in our memory.
"Despite all the cleverness and hype, the technology just isn't that good. It is both extraordinarily inefficient, and extraordinarily insecure."

@DylanReeve FB Groups are also a key part of the "cheat code". Group membership being driven from overseas to create the illusion of broad local support: https://t.co/xwsxQi5Cm1
We researched some of the biggest Facebook groups promoting the Canadian trucker protest before they were shut down yesterday, and noticed something was a bit off.
The only individual admin running some of the most active groups was one woman in Missouri. Or so it seemed.🧵⤵️
#tbt 20 years ago today, I moved to New Zealand for the first time. It was an exciting adventure! Back then flight NZ17 was a 767-300 that made a fuel stop in Tahiti, and sometimes a second stop in Rarotonga.
Grateful to be living here again today! 🙏
On JRE & misinfo: I went on the podcast in early 2019 after Joe reached out a few times. He wanted to talk ab how state actors were messing around on social media, felt that independent of “collusion” claims, ppl should understand that. I said, your audience is going to hate me…
"How often do any of us seek out a risk or a physical and mental challenge unrelated to work or achievement, with an allowance for error, interdependence and grace?"
