Traffic remains uneven

A total of 29 verified vessel crossings were recorded through the Strait of Hormuz between 10 and 14 June, covering crude, refined products, LPG, chemicals, methanol and general cargo movements. Activity was concentrated on 11 and 12 June, while 23 of the crossings moved west to east, compared with six travelling in the opposite direction. Eighteen crossings were classified as Dark or Unknown Route, highlighting ongoing visibility constraints despite continued traffic flow. Two sanctioned vessels were also identified during the period. The data aligns with reports of progress in US-Iran discussions and supports the assessment that the Strait remains operational, although traffic volumes, route transparency and directional balance have yet to return to a clearly normalised pattern.

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

➡️ Europe must free itself of russian gas completely. #LNG is key in this and @dtek_en is ready to play its part. We hope to announce LNG deals soon after our first shipment in late 2024.

➡️ Our immediate priority is to restore power stations but are also building new generation and storage in Ukraine and beyond to keep the country connected.

➡️ To rebuild Ukraine, we must do everything possible to become a magnet for foreign investment. Despite the war, investors are beginning to recognise the opportunity Ukraine represents.
