our neighbor who was also my dad's best friend passed away last night. he was the last living person that really knew my dad and just loved to tell me stories
about him. this hits way harder than I thought it would. the world lost another amazing person today.

@SimonJadis @redditships I kinda completely understand the plate thing in a way. We used to have a bad roach problem too. I got up in the middle of the night to make tea and there was a roach just chilling on the plates in the cabinet. Grosses me out still even though we haven't had roaches in awhile.

last night as we were watching the fireworks a pup ran through our yard scared out of their mind. i tried to run after it but it was too fast. lil guy went right through my neighbors fence. poor doggy could be anywhere by now and i've been worrying about them since last night.
