I grew up sheltered, so when I went to my first protest in my 30's I was shocked at the aggression I saw... from the police. I thought free speech meant free movement, free expression. It feels sad, and raw, to see so many people experience their own loss of naivety right now too

A curfew is just a way to sanction violence against peaceful protestors whose only crime is expressing their speech after 8:01. The first amendment doesn't go to bed.
