@EnquireLearn this! The curriculum you imposed on Roseberry school after the headteacher left has killed the creative and vibrant learning opportunities the kids had previously. Speaking as a parent with children experiencing both before and after, it is depressing to witness.
1/4 Are we testing the creative life out of primary education? When I was a class teacher, events like the World Cup transformed our classrooms into learning HQs. Overnight, geography, history, and math came alive. Today? Rigid curriculum pressures have killed that magic. 🧵
@CapitalistClive@JeremyVineOn5@nelufar@thecarolemalone@theJeremyVine It isn’t that. It is the absolute entitlement that knows no bounds, whilst constantly criticising the younger generations, that makes people angry. They lived through the golden years and still cannot acknowledge their luck.
@songforzula@JeremyVineOn5@nelufar@thecarolemalone@theJeremyVine They should have had less avocados , coffees, lunches out, holidays, worked 3 jobs and all the other stuff chucked are the younger generation I guess. I cannot express how little sympathy I have for pensioners who lived through the golden years and didn’t sort themselves out.
@Exfizzixteach @GabrielRefBCFA This reply is so contradictory it makes my head hurt!!! It is not unfair (for having unfamiliar approaches) but good students practice? And you taught…? Wow.
@Kilted_Sailor@TyphoonAir@GeeShock9712@specialopsmag It’s like if people don’t see it themselves, it does not exist 🤦🏻♀️ you have to point out the agenda so when people read the rubbish, they can see it for what it is. Am not sure what ‘not helping’ means in that context.
@GeeShock9712@specialopsmag It’s setting it up so if it turns out it was pilot error, and her fault, the inevitable jibes about women staying in their lane can commence.
@MarinaPurkiss@JeremyVineOn5 Whoever the twit is trying to defend him was straining to not just shout over the top of you. Get back in your place you irritating woman vibes. Whole lot of them make me physically shake with rage. What a rush to the bottom there is at the moment with Reform.
@cheekychaps24@TypeForVictory Herewith a classic example of an idiot who understands not a single thing about how this disorder works. Educate yourself.
@OliverKamm I could not disagree more that it is a good use of time to teach children grammar to this level. It completely overlooks what the future holds for them and what they need to know to survive it with technology, AI, etc. Also turns them off learning altogether as it is mind numbing
Asylum decisions have quadrupled.
The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019.
More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.
@RichQuelch Tbh, I find the Hull fans attitude to Boro weird AF. Boro literally did nothing wrong except highlight cheating. We were not beaten ‘fair and square’. We were not even allowed at the hearing held to decide. It’s mental to think there should not be a match to decide it.
@SaintsDanSFC If 1st leg was forfeit 3-0 (as usually the case) Boro would still have gone through on aggregate. If it had been expressed that way, would everyone have had themselves whipped up with this nonsense? Absolutely wild to suggest Hull get a buy when Boro were cheated against.
