IIT Roorkee has now reposted their research thread on anti- viral molecules for Chikungunya.

Great job IIT Roorkee. By letting the peer-reviewed data speak rather than cowering following the internet outrage is the thing a top scientific institute should do.

The deletion of the post seemed like a blow to objective science. It suggested that mass spectrometry in labs was less important than internet labels & political comfort. Reposting it fixes that signal.

It is essential for the scientific community to keep holding this research to a high standard & demanding rigorous in-vitro & double-blind clinical trials. The lab is where that scrutiny belongs, not through cyberbullying.
