Unfortunate and average-looking women are obsessed with my appearance and make cruel remarks out of envy and resentment.
I have more hair than them. I’m taller than them. I’m younger and don’t need FFS.
The most aesthetically attractive women never speak badly of me.
Only the ugly ones project misery.
@LatFilosof@cxgonzalez@Michael__Huemer Right, so realists should stop using that as a talking point. Nobody disagrees, I’m just saying Lance’s content is far from novel so I can’t imagine why anybody would waste their time hearing the same slop year after year.
@LatFilosof@cxgonzalez@Michael__Huemer We understand “most people who talk about moral statements are attempting to convey stance independent moral truths” requires empirical work. No offense but it’s not a novel thing to point out.
@LatFilosof@cxgonzalez@Michael__Huemer Are there any amount of watches where 1) “that’s an empirical question” and 2) criticisms of intuition becomes uninteresting content?
@nosilverv Huemer talks about this in Understanding Knowledge (not ignored whatsoever). I don’t have the character limit to answer your questions here directly but he argues intuitions (like other appearances) provide foundational but defeasible justification.
