New column: Anthropic is studying "model welfare" to determine if Claude or other AI systems are (or will soon be) conscious and deserve moral status.
I talked to Kyle Fish, who leads the research, and thinks there's a ~15% chance that Claude or another AI is conscious today.
My entire CT feed is girls with face filters in push up bras pretending they are traders and dorks writing 50 post threads on why the bear is just starting.
This is the bottom of all things. Buy everything.
Dear founders - ignore dumbass takes like this.
Be authentic, have opinions, and don't be afraid of sharing them.
Take that forced positivity and self-censoring bullshit to LinkedIn.
Wallet connection UX is shit.
I have to disconnect wallets all the time because a different address got connected, connection modals behave as if they have no info on the wallets you have installed (might be the case, I don’t know), and the accounts, there’s zero customization for the user.
It would be really cool if the connect button could do most of the heavy lifting in terms of wallet and account selection, so all you do is connect and sign in the wallet.
I'm wondering how do you combat plagiarism in AI era
People can simply copy a hit tweet and put on any chatbot with prompt:
"paraphrase this [insert a copied hit tweet] as if I'm a Milady's pfp user who is typically retarded and innocent"
OpenKaito Subnet 5 has taken a major step forward in powering large-scale, real-world applications.
The network’s text embedding models are now starting to power @KaitoAI Yaps' new real-time plagiarism checker.
This is one of the first real-time plagiarism checkers on any social media platform, protecting millions of Yaps users from content theft.
In the coming weeks, we plan to gradually scale up throughput while ensuring consistency and uptime.
More results and insights will be shared as well. Stay tuned!
SIMD-228: Too Polite to Matter
Congrats to the Solana community for conducting the most boring, intellectually honest, and respectful governance debate in crypto history. No personal insults. No public meltdowns. No drama. Just econometric arguments, math nobody understands, thoughtful revisions, and an unprecedented 74% voter turnout.
And that’s the problem. Because it was all so civil -- it was boring and felt inconsequential. Many validators defaulted to opinion capture. Some based their votes on X likes. Others probably swayed by a tweet or phone call by someone they think is a "gigabrain" or influential.
Meanwhile, stakers stayed quiet because most of them are retarded and think SIMD is a new vape flavour. Validators should’ve been flooded with DMs, threatened with stake withdrawals, or yelled at on the street for voting against their delegators’ interests.
Too much civility has let apathy win. If you want validators to really represent stakers, they need pressure. They need noise. By being polite and civil to each other, you’ve all made Solana worse off.
Congratulations!
it’s insane how many people are not used to read onchain contracts, even very technical people. on the other hand, tooling for it is terrible.
don’t trust verify is not a meme. running a node doesn’t verify enough. having an @l2beat for everything doesn’t scale. tooling does
Ethereum needs to be humbled through half a decade of sidelining event
Big VCs will start to realize that shiny whitepapers and founder reputation won't have any impact on price action
Because they don't meet the formula: technology+ gimmick
In that order, Solana will make it
Eric Schmidt on AI safety: A "modest death event" (Chernobyl-level) might be the trigger for public understanding of the risks.
He parallels this to the post-Hiroshima invention of mutually assured destruction, stressing the need for preemptive AI safety.
" I'd rather do it before the major event with terrible harm than after it occurs."
@arkham As long as you didn't touch Future, you safe
Be proud of your position, be comfy in Spot
Manipulations only last for short-term
It's different story if you get triggered
2 kind of market manipulator in crypto:
1. Whales who accumulated big size and dump on you for a profit
2. Whales who accumulated big size and dump on you for having fun
You may not familiar with the later
However, on both scenario your TA skill is a junk
It was funny to see CT yelling for bears on timeline
frustating about what the fuck just happened because there's no headline, no @arkham report, no Saylor tweets, no nothing
but the price just nuked into the bottom of the earth
Your uber driver will tell you be careful here, recession incoming.
Your Tik Tok/Streaming KOL is telling you Solana and memes are dead (after aping the top)
Crypto Twitter gals stopped shilling and returned to content purely of thirsty gym selfies in push up bras
It's time.
