@SouthernMB82 If plans work out, I hope to have southern kids raised on a small family farm. My mother was a farm kid in South Carolina. My brother ended up moving to the South too. To be southern you have to be born here. Same goes for any state.

@SouthernMB82 That's exactly what I say if asked. My family is from Texas and South Carolina. It's like if I moved to Japan and called myself Japanese. I want the South to stay southern. This feels like an attempt to water down or outright eliminate the culture.
