YOU’RE GETTING DISTRACTED AGAIN.

Remember the promises you made to yourself that Night.

Get back on track.

It’s hard not to create slop when most things you consume are slop

To fix output, first fix input

I can officially confirm that posting on X did in fact change my life. 🥹

Today was my first day at OpenAI as part of the GTM team!

Still feels a little surreal to say that. So excited for this next chapter and everything I’m about to learn, build, and experience. ❤️

- 开一个 turn，给 agent 塞个 wait_for_user_input 工具

Theo

So OpenAI removed the ability to have a task finish after you hit 100% usage. Who ruined it for all of us? 🥹

[Arthur @arthurcolle]

Congrats on ruining it for everyone because you're a clout chaser that needs to advertise every fleeting thought running through your head. Hope the likes and reposts were worth it!

[Sherwin Wu @sherwinwu]

GPT-5.6 Sol is now $4/$20 per 1M tokens – the cheapest frontier model out there.

Just for fun, I dug up GPT-4's original API pricing back in 2023. It was $30/$60 per 1M tokens!! For 8k context at the time. How far we've all come.

[Paul Graham @paulg]

Someone asked what I'd do if I were 17. I'd learn how to build LLMs from scratch, and then train ones as powerful as I could with whatever hardware I could get access to.

The fastest way to become articulate on a topic is to write until you're no longer confused.

[. @gloteto]

@buildwithrajath I use the $20 plan on codex to build an iOS app I'm working on and it lasts me almost a week. Happy with my usage. I do switch between models a lot though

[Zara Zhang @zarazhangrui]

The other day I was feeling unmotivated and talked to Claude about it. Claude said something that completely changed how I see motivation:

"Motivation follows action more than it precedes it"

Boom.

[. @gloteto]

Only 9 hours until my codex limit resets 😅

I’ll be actually-homeless soon (living out of my car) if I can’t land a job. Our house is being sold within two months if I don’t find work. I’ve been trying everywhere, but very few companies are answering. So please, email me or DM with literally anything involving computers, or ask a friend, or your business’s HR person. (I’d love to work with you.) I’ll do a good job, and I can learn and adapt to any working style you need.

I was employee #2 at Carmack’s AI lab, Keen. I worked at Groq helping to design and implement their LPU chips. I made Books3, a dataset trained on by LLaMA and Claude. I’ve been programming for 25 years.

Location: Lake Saint Louis MO
Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: yes
Technologies: Python, PyTorch, JAX, C++, JS/TypeScript, Objective C, Swift, Rails, Linux, Lisp, and anything else you give me a week to learn.
Résumé/CV: https://t.co/CmXUlOxyuT
Email: [email protected]

I wanted to avoid the humiliation of begging, but nothing is working. I need money or else our 3yo daughter loses her birth home. I’ve been through dozens of interviews from the companies that do answer, but the market is bad right now. You can have me for a steal.
