Here's a game I play with the MP monkeys. Each time I receive unsolicited mail through the letterbox I take a photo of it in the wheelie bin and then email them the photo and a block of insulting text. I also cc the complaints department of the government about wasting resources.
@JaneE199 I find the whole thing hilarious. Everyone knows winter flus blow away during summer, just as CV19 did last summer. So they set a date at the start of summer - really! And then come Nov/Dec we'll have the winter flu - again. Round and round we go ...
@itsandrewhj@OwenJones84 This lot are straight out of Animal Farm. Blair worth $100m. Corbyn has 2 homes and had the nerve to bill the taxpayer for the TV license. Jones cashing in on newspaper columns etc. I can't take any of them seriously as they are all two faced.
Here's that communist weirdo Owen Jones mouthing off again, this time on inheritance tax. I personally find inheritance tax the sickness of all taxes. Anyone who is for it is a pure communist and wanting to keep people down.

Back to "normal" with the start of Summer. It's so predictable and corny I'm finding it hard not to laugh. People have been playing this "winter months flu bug" for centuries.

@BBGRichie Imagine an AIDS/HIV passport. There would be a uproar. And yet when a contagious disease, numerous people (always government officials) are demanding it.
Such a passport would create an "us and them" state. The clean and the unclean, with all sorts of others Stasi State aspects.
@DianaHarding7@BorisJohnson My grandma used to say that how ever poor you are you can always afford a bar of soap. Just as there is no excuse for being dirty and stinking of BO, I agree that there is no excuse for not combing one's hair, however long. It's all part of his image, but the guy's an arse.
@CarolineCoramUK Like you I don't get it. You read of people being trapped abroad, having to pay hotel bills and quantanteened for 10 days on return, not being reimbursed booking costs, etc. If you booked a holiday now you'd be mad. Then again, most people are.
Being a vegetarian, I find this particularly sickening. They just can't devalue an animal's life enough.
All those dead animals - yuk!

Micro-plastics are the new sand. A few years ago researchers in America analysed several beaches and in some areas found that 80+% of sand was plastic grains. Some of that stuff takes 5,000 years to fully degrade.

There's something very strange about the area near Edinburgh Waverley. Builders just can't leave the area alone. Whether it's endless digging up Princes Street Garden, the new Peeling Orange centre, Waverley Railway station, ...
