@stevehaag81@bobmaloney3@loyalmoses Construction workers use their tools almost every day so they need robust equipment. The average dude who just needs it for the occasional household project can get away with Ryobi or whatever cheap brand they find on Amazon because they’re not using it for their livelihood
@Castellani2014 He was at 84 pitches and it’s like 95° and humid out there and his fastball velo was already way down and it’s a close game. Pretty normal move for anyone to make considering the circumstances
@herculezg@Kia@Kia because you chose to advertise on this hell hole of an app run by a nazi sympathizer, I will not purchase a Kia and will discourage others from doing so
@JamesTrtik@fishontherun02 Took a series of MBA classes as my “electives” during my M.S. Chemistry. The stereotype holds true. A smart-ish 13 year old could attain an MBA
@XxWydrAxX@pair0sock@voidpires “Time blindness” does not eliminate the ability to set an alarm or start a timer or look at a clock. Even if you can’t instinctively judge how much time has passed during a task, you are still capable of finding out quite easily!
@XxWydrAxX@pair0sock@voidpires The point is that if you are bad at estimating time (not a real disability btw), you can just time how long it takes to do things. No more mystery. “I can’t tell how long I was in the shower, but my life experience tells me 10 min have passed.” You are stupid if you can’t do that
@pair0sock@voidpires “Time blindness” does not turn you into someone that is so dumb you believe it’s impossible figure out how long it takes to do a task. If you can’t figure out how long it takes to do something you do all the time, you’re just dumb
@pair0sock@voidpires Time yourself doing a task. Tada, now you know how long it takes and can properly set aside the time it takes to do that.
“Oh, I’ve timed out it takes myself 10 min to shower and 5 to get dressed. I just need to start these tasks 15 min before they need to be done.”
