this may 4th, i need you guys to remember that star wars is a story of rebellion and hope and not just "omg shiny neon swords!!". star wars is and has always been political and if you watched all those movies yet are still silent about the state of the world, watch again.
things that 99% of pokemon players have never achieved.
game freak in 2006, added a star system to your trainer card in pokémon diamond and pearl. the card would change colors as you earned stars, finally turning black when you got all five.
the stars were awarded as followed:
- first star: awarded for beating the elite four.
- second star: earned by winning a master rank contest. this meant making perfect poffins and maxing out contest stats across all ranks.
- third star: gained in the underground by snagging 50 flags from other players’ secret bases. after nintendo wi-fi shut down, this one became brutal most people needed two consoles linked together to finish it.
- fourth star: unlocked by completing the national pokédex (all 493 pokémon).
- fifth star: the hardest one, get a 100-win streak in the battle tower. the ai loved landing critical hits, freezes, and focus band shenanigans, especially after battle 50. one loss and you had to start the streak all over again.
black 5 stars trainer card was the ultimate flex for completionists.
in generation viii trainer card was replaced by league card and in generation ix by profile app in rotom phone.
i wanted to feed my miis photorealistic rats but i dont have a homebrewed switch so i had to color code this rat image and manually put it in pixel by pixel
it took me nearly 8 hours
Don’t let it distract you from the fact boomers almost ended his career after giving the most tragic portrayal of Anakin we could ever ask for, only for the next generation to love the prequels and turn him into a cult figure with kino edits that revived his entire career.
What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
