To play like @Marksman, one must have his setup.
CLG, @Newegg & @GIGABYTEUSA are hooking up one lucky winner with Marksman's PC build. #IntelGamerDays

3/3 Hootsuite on voice technology: Voice technology helps consumers who have lower levels of reading literacy, making it a key technology for the next billion consumers about to come online for the first time. " #GNED1411 14.2
2/3 So even though I don't think voice will be big, experts at Hootsuite do think so. From https://t.co/n49hFFCKiW : "Voice technology helps consumers who have lower levels of reading literacy, making it a key technology for the next billion consumers about to come online
#GNED1411 14.2 I'm of tow minds about voice technology. I don't foresee it becoming very popular in North American cities because of privacy issue (i.e. everyone can hear what you're asking and the response) but Hootsuite predicts voice will be big in emerging markets 1/2
#GNED1411 14.1 While researching my final project, I explored TikTok a bit. I think it will the next big wave in social media. It already has quite a following in India and Asian countries, and targets young people.
#GNED1411 13.2 I would like to see discussion groups migrate to some sort of social media channel to facilitate group work in higher education. For privacy purposes, students might want a class-specific avatar/persona/handle.
#GNED1411 Thread: 2/2 Singh's social media campaign raised his profile, was less expensive than traditional advertising and had measurable results. Younger voters were a key demographic, and an Abacus poll of found Singh was the most popular Canadian leader among Millennials 10.4
#GNED1411 Thread: Federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh used social media in the 2019 campaign to introduce himself to voters and make his platform known. Singh’s campaign leveraged video via Twitter and Facebook, and even used TikTok to connect with the younger demographic. 10.4 1/2
#GNED1411 Per the definition of Citizen 2.0, no, I don't fall into that category. While I do have a desire for political information, I am not sceptical of mainstream media, and I do not express my own views or share directly with others. 10.2
#GNED1411 Yes, social media content by politicians definitely has an influence on my vote. I appreciate how social media lets me hear directly from the politician (or his/her team) unfiltered by reporters and mainstream media. 10.1
9.3 #GNED1411 the viral campaign i recall could be the ice bucket challenge which raised funds for ALS. it engaged people of all ages and demographics to help support a cause in a fun but unusual way.
@Wendys humanizes it's brand by tweeting back at other fast food competition in a casual manner. This engages their audience and helps to promote their brand through comedy #gned1411 9.2
#GNED1411 9.3 the viral campaign that stands out to me was not marketing per se, but an outpouring of emotion: the placing of hockey sticks on the porch across Canada to mark the death of a sixteen young people in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
I've noticed Tor Books taking good advantage of social media by having several of their authors banter on Twitter. Myke Cole, Sam Sykes and Chuck Wendig are examples. 9.2 #GNED1411
9.1 One of my favorite social media brands is @NASA, for their frequent posts, variety of posts and stellar photography (pun intended). NASA falls into the Maven category, with 16 social media channels just for their main corporate identity. #GNED1411
@DeniseG89076851 I agree that social media has improved the quality of news. I think it has also done so by allowing non-traditional voices to emerge and make known what is important to their niche. Social media tools have broadened the number of news sources and give us ore choice.
Traditional media have embraced social media as a source of news and often embed tweets in stories. Trending topics and tweets become the news. This become very pronounced once President Trump began communicating his thoughts and decisions via twitter. #GNED1411 8.2
I have not switched away from traditional media outlets for my news, but I have changed the way I consume their news. Now it's through Twitter and smartphone apps, and by following columnists and journalists. #GNED1411 8.1
Your online identity is important b/c it exists outside of any context, or anyone's knowledge of you, so it can easily be interpreted in a negative way. It paints a public image accessible to anyone, so it's not the place to confide controversial views. #GNED1411 7.2
