Since joining @PacBio, we've made SRE size selection even better. Protocol tweaks improve recovery, and you can now process 96 samples at a time on a liquid handler. Never lose the pellet again!

1/ This is Mort. He's a mouse lemur. He's also a movie star. In 2020, @circulomics ran a contest with @ArimaGenomics. Anne Yoder won with her lemur speciation and biodiversity project. We were smitten by the adorable pics. Don't ask Anne for pics unless you want to fall into a 1 hr rabbit hole.

5/ This has been one of our favorite projects and has allowed us to live vicariously through an amazing collaborator. We're so lucky to have been able to ride along with Anne and her team. Over 3.5 years, we got to see the project go from idea to funded grant to expedition to lab work and soon to data analysis. We got on the train as @circulomics and now finish this leg as @PacBio. I can't wait to see what they find!

By taking a cohesive re-design of the entire workflow -sample, extraction, assay/library prep, reaction purification, sequencing, and data analysis - we were able to make PureTarget work so much better than NoAmp.
