@SohunSanka Depends. For captions and effects, most tools seem to do well. For edits that require taste like storytelling, color grading, i have yet seen a good one. Trying to crack that problem myself too.
@mattchowx Great workflow! My early attempts with Remotion was fun but there were a lot of manual tweaks to make it work. Was it easy for you to accept Remotion output from Fable in this project?
@exploraX_ No man, editors are not cooked. Taste is more important than ever now. Iβve tried video-use too. Their main idea is to plot the audio channel and make cut decisions based on that, clever but absolutely not enough to do good cuts. not happy with most of its outputs.
A quick update, I'm no longer at Adobe.
I'm now building https://t.co/vSKqULpmay. I'm excited to bring my expertise on creative & reliable AI agents to embark on this journey. Here's a quick look at what it can already do π
If you're in AI agents or video tools, let's connect.
Driving this tech transfer has been fun! We sprinkled some HCI magic here to transform a static AI model into one that understands motion design. And I believe that this approach can help us unlock so much more. Can't wait to share what's coming next.
In collaboration with the @AdobeExpress team, @AdobeResearch has made animation effortless with Animate All β a new AI-powered feature that lets Express users add high-quality animations to their designs in just one click! https://t.co/ISQOLNZqHK
@jbhuang0604 Couldnβt agree more. Sending students out for research internships is also good for them. I did my first in my 4th year, and that experience contributed so much to my growth. Wish I had started as early as my second year.
π Hiring PhD summer interns - PLEASE RT!
At @AdobeResearch we're looking for students skilled in HCI & GenAI to transform Web experiences with https://t.co/moaJq5iQaw!
Topics: Web usability, page generation, evaluation, optimization, RAG,...
Apply now! https://t.co/qD2gWCOQjD
Adobe Fresco is free to use now! π Give a try if you are into painting/drawing/motion and have a touch/stylus-supported device running iOS/Windows, and feel free to let me know if you have any comments or feature requests. (I have been involved in the R&D of this product.)
Ready to make an impact with cutting-edge research? @AdobeResearch is now accepting applications for summer 2025 internships from master's and PhD students. Apply now! https://t.co/eS61RzEmqq
Joel McHale highlighted the Animate All feature we shipped in Adobe Express! It transforms static posters into dynamic animations. Leading this tech transfer and iterating the AI component through user studies was incredibly rewarding as an HCI researcher. https://t.co/3nzzbel6gY
@hciphd The text to 3D camera view interaction in MemoVis contributed to this Adobe Max Sneaks. It was awesome to work with the Scenic team to bring this 3D Copilot experience to MAX. https://t.co/QSIW8KzZIo
#ProjectScenic makes 2D image creation easier by letting you build a 3D scene layout with a copilot prompt. Control the camera and tweak individual objects, guide the image generation process, and edit 3D scenes more precisely. π #AdobeMAX
I'll be at #UIST2024 next week, excited to connect with everyone and explore the latest in HCI research.
Also here's project MemoVis led by former intern Chen @hciphd. We studied AI-powered text & scribble interactions in the context of 3D design review. https://t.co/dhhDEqGr9U
In late 2022, I joined a small team of researchers to explore content-aware text effects. This led to an incredible journey that moved us from research prototyping to launching a feature in 2023. I've written a brief post reflecting on this technology and what's next.
Want to automatically add animated captions to your videos? @AdobeResearch has partnered with product teams to create Caption Video, an AI-driven Quick Action tool in @AdobeExpress to help users get it done in style! https://t.co/pQ2I6KYT90
