The state BJP president @ShetSadanand Tanavade’s statement that issue between the Hon Speaker and the Art and Culture minister is an ‘internal matter’ both absurd and alarming. The real issue here is gross misappropriation of public funds, and scams in the department. This concerns #Goa and #Goemkars. Interpreting the Speaker’s serious accusations as a party matter is not only disparaging to that constitutional position but also an attempt to normalise corruption by making light of it.

HON SPEAKER’s ACCUSATIONS SEVERE, ACTION INEVITABLE. The honourable Speaker of the Assembly @ramesh_tawadkar’s allegation of a scam in the Art and Culture Ministry, and his accusation of misappropriation of funds by the minister has to be viewed with the utmost seriousness and attention it deserves. I stand vindicated as I have raised this issue myself many times before but to no avail. @GovtofGoa must immediately launch a comprehensive and independent investigation into this affair. The minister’s position has become untenable now with such scathing comments from the Assembly’s presiding authority, and I demand that he step down and face the inquiry.

THEIR MASTERS’ PLAN! By creating this disastrous Master Plan for #Margao and #Fatorda, one leader has declared beyond doubt that his loyalties lie not with the people of #Goa but with the vested interests lobbies . This blatant take over of farmers’ lands is engineered by the ruling party leader with total disregard for the sentiments of Madgaonkars and Fatordekars, and the future of Goa. If the councillors have any sense of justice, or concern for their home land, they should boldly speak up, or else face the wrath of the people. Even if I’ve to go alone on this, I’ll take this up in the upcoming session of the Assembly, and see to it that the resounding voice of the people repulse and defeat the evil designs of the greedy land grabbers and their puppet political agents.
