Gap Up’s are Rare. Call Writers Beware.
Today is going to be one of those rare days when market will open with a significant gap up movement.
Last time it happened was when Corporate Tax rate was reduced to 25%.
Rare days when “Call Writers” will get burried. This is a day they fret. And it has come today.
To say that I am humbled and overwhelmed is well short of what I truly feel. A big heartfelt thank you to all those who took the time to watch my 4 hour plus podcast with @rajshamani 20 million views on YouTube alone in 4 days and god knows how many more reposts on Instagram and Facebook fills my heart with joy that my true factual story is being heard. May god bless you all.
@BeingPractical I would only say that @DhanHQ is perfect example of how to being successful only by focusing on customer experience. You can be simple but if focused on customer experience, success would be not far away.
The Indian Railways runs over 13,000 trains daily. But only one train quietly stands out. Not because of speed, luxury, or technology, but for something humane. This train, known as the Sachkhand Express, is the only train in India where passengers are served free breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout a journey that lasts nearly 35 hours from Maharashtra to Punjab.
Sachkhand Express (12715) operates between Nanded in Maharashtra and Amritsar in Punjab, covering around 2,000 kilometers and connecting two of the holiest Sikh sites in the country. If you travel in this train, you’ll be served a fresh home-style meal, without anyone asking for money. You might get kadhi-chawal, sabzi, and fresh rotis, served with a warm smile.
These meals aren’t cooked in a railway kitchen, instead they’re prepared at nearby Gurudwaras and brought on board by volunteers. It’s all part of the Sikh tradition of langar, where anyone, rich or poor, local or stranger, is offered food with respect and free of cost. This beautiful act of service has been going on since 1995, and passengers have been receiving free meals for nearly 30 years now.
The food is not served at just one place, it is offered at several stations along the journey. While there is no official list, many passengers have received meals at stops like Aurangabad, Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Delhi, and Ludhiana. And, since the meals are not from the railway’s pantry, you need to carry your own plate or tiffin box to receive the food. Volunteers usually walk along the platform or get into the coaches with containers full of fresh meals, offering them to whoever is willing to accept.
In a time when everything is about give and take, this train reminds you that kindness can travel thousands of kilometers too. What began as a humble offering by the Sikh community has become a part of this train’s identity. So next time you hear someone talk about Indian Railways, tell them there’s one train which offers more than a journey. It’s a moving example of generosity, faith, and shared humanity.
From Hero to Zero: The Rise and Fall of BeerBiceps
Social media made him a sensation, but it also took everything away in an instant. A cautionary tale of how fleeting online fame can be. #BeerBiceps#SocialMedia#Fame
Recently I learned that breast milk subsitute manufacturers lobbied with governments across the world to reduce maternity leaves. To sell their formula milk more.
I don't believe in heaven and hell, but for the first time, I wish hell exists and these guys go straight there
Ambulance in 10 minutes.
We are taking our first step towards solving the problem of providing quick and reliable ambulance service in our cities. The first five ambulances will be on the road in Gurugram starting today. As we expand the service to more areas, you will start seeing an option to book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance through the @letsblinkit app.
Some more info-
• Our ambulances are equipped with essential life-saving equipment, including oxygen cylinders, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), stretcher, monitor, suction machine, and essential emergency medicines and injections.
• Each ambulance has a paramedic, an assistant and a trained driver to make sure we are able to deliver the highest quality of service in time of need.
• Profit is not a goal here. We will operate this service at an affordable cost for customers and invest in really solving this critical problem for the long term.
• We are carefully scaling this service up, as it is both important and new to us. Our aim is to expand to all major cities over the next two years.
Let's do our bit and make way for an ambulance always. You never know when you may save a life.
MTF / Pay Later - When economic pressures force you to change your views.
I have always believed MTF being a good product for tactical use when you find a high conviction stock. Rather I have always seen more risk in F&O than in MTF. If one borrows at a reasonable rate, MTF can open big opportunities. Needless to say investors have to be conscious of the risks involved.
Regulatory changes are leading to drop in revenues from F&O where most discount brokers have over-reliance. So MTF is a natural diversification.
It is good to see many of the discount brokers enabling the product on their platform, even though might have talked down about it in the past.
The biggest take-away for me is that MTF as a product is going to become popular and mainstream, as more players enable the product.
