This week marks one year since we lost critical care fellow Rakesh "Rick" Patel, MD. To celebrate his life and memory, his fellow teammates dedicated the annual Fellow of the Year award to him. His memory and all the special times he shared with us will always be in our hearts.
As an IM resident in the ICU, I felt like my male colleagues were doing tons of lines while I got few. I wondered: am I imagining this? Is this gendered? Turns out others wondered the same. So we decided to study it. The results are now out in @atsscholar.
