This was mentioned on the telecast after Cantlay's approach on 8 skidded over the back of the green, but the No. 2 course's tilted fairways are such an important part of its challenge. Hitting from a hook lie to *this* green demands real skill.
Brian Silva’s design at Black Creek Club was a concept ahead of its time: it was arguably the first modern course to use C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor’s template holes.
