@cybercpu The problem is that when it is idle you are not using so it doesn't matter how much ram it uses. But as soon as you need to do something like searching for a file, windows will load 12 processes with a chromium and a Bing search into existance

Is there a way to use sonnet 4.6 instead of 5 in Claude code? I liked it better and it was faster and less expensive but I don't see any way to change it
Tried using sonnet 5 and for a simple fix it spawned 6 agents. And while the agents were working it started saying "okay now I'm going to see if they did any progress, oh, they didn't, I will then wait."
It did so 3 times
They tried to make it so agentic it is too much
Ah yes I asked for a car and you show me a bike, I for sure will be slightly happy you built something that had nothing to do with my request just because you could give it to me earlier just to dismount it and build a car later

I'm not sure if it is related to the AI enforcement, but a year ago I was happy to do on-call even twice a month. Lately I hate it.
Incidents all weeks.
Broken tests.
Alerts that no one reviewed. Providers going down.
I got waken up late at night 4 times this week.
@drummatick It's not only Ai things, it's all Google. They keep launching and removing products and most of the time they are basically the same thing with a different name and pretend that the other one never existed
@saltyAom I feel like if the rewrite is so easy and Claude does so well, then they could have fixed all the memory leaks and so in zig directly, the rust rewrite feels like propaganda for anthropic more than anything
@ibuildthecloud Js is not the problem, chromium is. Since you want everything to render as a web it has to get the same engine as a browser. That's what causes such bloat
@HSVSphere The only middle ground I see possible is what umbrella projects do in elixir. They share code but can be independently deployed and distributed. Although it doesn't fully solve everything, it's a step forward

You can tells an overalls mood and what artist has going on based from what they created
Machine maybe able to fabricate it but will never replicate it perfectly
