Another drive in an empty #407. Who says it can’t take more vehicles? Did you know that @ONtransport has designed the controversial #413 as a toll hwy? All designs include the tolling infrastructure. So who can afford using the #413? @STOPthe413NOW
Another successful Earth Hour at @City_of_Vaughan City Hall. Lots of displays and information booths sharing tips on how to live more sustainably and save energy. The students had super projects and displays. The posters were well done. All in all a great event.

Crown Royal is Canadian Whiskey made in Gimli, Manitoba. It puts our country and our province on the map globally.
Let’s protect these Canadian jobs in Gimli, as well as in Quebec and Ontario.
I’m asking my friend Doug to not follow through on boycotting this Canadian product made from the waters of Lake Winnipeg by hard working blue-collar Manitobans.
We should all cheers to that!
On this day in 1903, the Wright brothers made a brief 3.5-second first flight attempt in the 1903 Wright Flyer. The Flyer's performance inspired Wilbur Wright to note “There is now no question of final success.”
He would be proven correct three days later.
25 years ago, CSA astronaut Marc Garneau flew to space to help install the @Space_Station’s first solar arrays, a major milestone in building the Station.

🇨🇦Canada has announced an additional $528.5 million investment in ESA programmes at #CM25.
In recent years, collaboration between ESA and Canada has gained remarkable momentum—opening the door for more Canadian organisations than ever before to contribute to bold international space missions. Canadian expertise is increasingly at the centre of major ESA initiatives, while Canadian companies benefit from privileged access to the European space market.
Every dollar awarded to Canadian businesses through ESA contracts generates over three dollars in follow-on sales, strengthening Canadian organisations and delivering significant value to the Canadian economy.
This is major news. As we expand our international partnerships around the globe, we are honoured by the trust Canada has placed in ESA and look forward to achieving even more together. Thank you to @melaniejoly 🇨🇦 #ESADelivers!

"When I worked at Rockwell Downey in the early 1980s (location of the Columbia Memorial Space Center) I used to climb inside this orbiter mockup in the DEI room at noon to eat lunch. Shh! I was not the only one who did this (you Rockwell alumni know you did too)" @NASA@CityOfDowney@ChallengerCtr
Now picture a 1km bridge hundreds of feet high with cement pylons in the middle of this River holding up that monstrosity of a Hwy called #413 dumping massive amounts of salt every winter into the Heritage Humber River. Thanks a lot @ONtransport Keep up the fight @STOPthe413NOW
