I’m a recovering artist.

I finally realized that not everything we do as humans needs to be tied to “likes” or monetary value. So I picked up some pastels today. It wasn’t perfect or pretty, but I haven’t felt this satisfaction/joy in years. 2024 = my year of finding balance.

@BrandonLBradfor Dating a guy from out of town. Parents wanted to treat us to my favorite Chinese restaurant while he was visiting. He had never had Chinese food before (no biggie) but he wasn’t even willing to try white rice. Feeding people is my love language. How do you feed someone like that?
