Embassy of India in Nepal @IndiaInNepal, in association with Pokhara Metropolitan City @Pokharamun, organized a mega yoga demonstration at Pokhara Rangasala to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gandaki Province @SurendraRajPan5 as the Chief Guest, alongside the Ambassador of India to Nepal, @navsri6619, representatives of Pokhara Metropolitan City, and officials from the Kaski District Administration. More than 8,000 yoga practitioners and enthusiasts joined the event.

@IndiaInNepal has been organizing International Day of Yoga events in collaboration with Pokhara Metropolitan City since 2023, and the celebration has now emerged as a flagship annual event.

The enthusiastic participation on such a large scale reflects the growing adoption of yoga as a way of life and a pathway to healthy lifestyle. It also reflects the strong people-to-people ties between 🇮🇳 and 🇳🇵.
