I've also learned that unless you happened to have used one of the two UK Notified Bodies (BSI or SGS) to apply the CE mark, the mark may not roll over to UKCA in 2023. This could result in a mass removal of medical devices from the UK market.

Currently in a medical regulatory briefing. I had not appreciated that Northern Ireland would need its own regulatory mark: the UKCA NI. I was already worried that GB would be too small a market to make the costs worthwhile, for NI this is going to be exponentially worse.

A friendly warning to avoid @greenmotiongat.They just charged my employee £491 for a scratch so small that we failed to find it on collection despite close inspection that found 7 other areas of undeclared damage. They are now banned as a supplier across my companies.

@greenmotiongat I’m 99% sure it was pre-existing damage, as it is below similar scratches on the wing mirror that we did find. I am 100% sure that the charge is astronomically disproportionate. Avoid like the plague.
