@DirtyEffinHippy@totithoth I’m good. I rather Bungie go down honestly. My trust in the brand is gone. Marathon to keep Bungie alive? What for? They aren’t making Destiny 3. If there is no Destiny 3 there is no interest in Bungie. Simple as that. #WeWantDestiny3
@keronage@samikatplays Bungie was below the red line before the Sony acquisition. If it wasn’t acquired right then, the studio was very close to shutting its doors at the very least on Destiny. It was an emergency acquisition
@vesseloftauceti Playing through it and I really like dredgen bael a lot but other than that i hate it, it feels like a bad season with twice the padding seasons had and the way the story is delivered i think is god awful which sucks because theres a really good story buried in it
We live in this weird age of Halo where you can customize your gameplay in anyway you want but people still complain.
Don’t want sprint? Turn it off
Want a 60 round AR? Do it!
Want third person? Go ahead!
Don’t like the HUD? Change it!
Don’t want a remake? Go play MCC!!!
#Halo
@DSR_Joker Oh interesting, ill look forward to it then and hope theres not another block of 10 quest steps where i just do busy work in the cantina and go to the derelict to watch a cutscene (why did i have to do that, why couldn't the cutscene be at the cantina or before or after a mission
@anabsolutefiend@lumbogg Marathon is also a much much smaller game and the tch problems destiny 2 faced had to do with the size of the game, d2 is 150gb meanwhile marathon is 16
@Flux_fps Destiny 3 will probably happen, however its at best a decade away from release and if marathon starts performing worse, bungie will likely die and d3 will be even further out and made by a different studio
@Flux_fps I love destiny and want a d3 and have been wanting it since witch queen but greenlighting a destiny 3 made by bungie is the most idiotic business move sony could make, there's probably some secret in the update that when found will lead to an announcement of a spin off but
@alestlima@SrPereira117 Most of the new stuff was just eververse items they now can't make money off of, the update is almost entirely just cosmetics and quality of life stuff, also seasons haven't been a thing for over 2 years what are you talking about lmao
@pugwash110@torchedbyangels Nah that very much was not the witness, the manor od speaking was completely different to both the winnower and witness, plus judging by some story beats and lore in beyond light i don't think bungie had come up with the idea of the witness yet
@pugwash110@torchedbyangels Mission and then after that is just a cliffhanger that never got resolved to this day and then the raid which i actually really like and don't understand the hate, doesn't really have much to do with the "campaign" and instead tied into the season the dlc launched with
@pugwash110@torchedbyangels It definitely wasn't good but it actually was a campaign, shadowkeep had 2 story missions, a few super scuffed low budget strike equivalents, where you fight reskinned d1 bosses and a bunch of required busywork and random bs to craft armor to be able to access the actual story
