Harvest basil by pinching off the leaves top down regularly for continuous growth. To store: Cut stems and put in water in the fridge for a week, dry basil leaves, make pesto, freeze the leaves, or cubes of blended leaves and oil. Blanching leaves will help keep the green colour.
