I’m not around much anymore these days (gotten too involved in online poker, unfortunately), but I did want to pop in and thank all of you for your condolences today.
Friends, countrymen (and women), I apologize that I have been absent of late. The whole pandemic has me a bit down, even though the infection rate among the already-dead is fairly low. Florence and I have been taking it easy, waiting for my new museum and renovated house to open.

During his tenure, he appointed four Justices to the Court: William Howard Taft to be Chief Justice and Associate Justices Edward Sanford, Pierce Butler and George Sutherland.
