Fun fact. For the 1966 World Cup, England debated denying visas for North Korea. FIFA responded that if any players from any teams were denied visas,they would relocate the World Cup, even at the last minute. Tks to @hitcsevens for the info
@lazydays1970@soccerreform Oh I agree. Generally people have this thought that closed systems are doing great. Only the NFL and ISL are doing great. The rest are getting by and living off valuations. As a business, most teams/clubs are run poorly
@Crew96Times And yet fans of leagues that don’t have it seem to prefer the referee element. It would be one thing if the decisions weren’t up to interpretation
@AdamJoseph Perhaps the other clubs are worried that if they create too much of a fuss, it’ll be audits for everyone. Everyone may not want that end result 🤔
