The world is hitting tank‑bottom oil inventories by September.

Oil inventories work like blood in the human body: you can donate a bit, but below a certain level your blood pressure tanks and organs start failing. You don’t die because blood hits zero, you die because circulation collapses

That’s where we are with oil. We began the year with more than 8 billion barrels in storage, yet only around 10% was actually usable without pushing the system into stress... that safety margin has now been drawn down.

The next stage is dropping to operational floor levels, where pipelines and refineries start failing – that’s the real tank bottom.

⭕️ BREAKING: New Soar Atlas satellite imagery appears to show damage at the U.S. Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait following yesterday’s Iranian attacks.

CENTCOM insisted yesterday that all incoming missiles and drones were “defeated,” but Kuwaiti authorities also released footage purporting to show an Iranian drone striking the country’s airport followed by a large explosion.

Rosemary repeats an important point that is often overlooked:

Two thirds of limestone traded globally transits the strait of Hormuz.

India used to import half the world trade in limestone for its cement and steel industry. The balance was largely Bangladesh.

Unless the strait reopens soon, the Indians and Bangladeshis will be forced to cut steel runs and import more cement.

BREAKING: The IRGC Aerospace Force just launched a number of precision-guided short-range ballistic missiles at U. S. Military Forces present in Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait in response to a U.S. military airstrike on an IRGC Aerospace Force ballistic missile base near Omidiyeh in southwestern Iran. This happened minutes ago at 06:30AM local time.

Warning sirens have been heard across Kuwait City, and emergency SMS alerts have been sent to Kuwaiti citizens instructing them to take shelter.

It remains unclear whether U.S. Army Patriot PAC-3 air-defense batteries protecting Ali Al Salem Air Base and other military facilities have successfully intercepted the incoming Iranian ballistic missiles.

The IRGC announced it shot down a MQ-1 drone early this morning.

The MQ-1 drone attempted to carry out a hostile operation by entering the territorial waters of Iran, but it was immediately detected and shot down by Iran’s air defenses.

- The US retired its MQ-1 fleet in 2018, so the only operator in the region would be the UAE (besides Turkey).

BREAKING: US Navy Central Command and UKMTO just issued a critical warning to all ships in the Strait of Hormuz that major US military operations will soon be conducted there, citing Iran's "dangerous and illegal mining," with US forces on "high alert for Iranian attack" anticipating retaliation. Any vessel obstructing the operation or "supporting mine-laying activities WILL BE TARGETED BY U.S. FORCES."

The same type of UKMTO warning was issued on June 11, 2025, with the Twelve Day War starting the next day. Trump has also just concluded his 2-hour Situation Room meeting with no decision on any deal.
