Today we’re launching Blinkit inside the Mumbai Airport!
Specifically Terminal 2 (Domestic departures) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
Through our partnership with Adani Airports, travellers can now order from a selection of 2500+ products like phone chargers, books, gifts and more on the Blinkit app. Orders will be delivered within the terminal by our dedicated team of walkers.
This is the first airport in the world to have a service of this kind and we're excited to deliver all the last-minute needs of our customers.
P.S - update your Blinkit app to the latest version to order.

Blinkit’s UI/UX for Valentine’s week is honestly 🔥
A Single’s mode and a Valentine’s mode, and the transition between them is butter smooth.
This is how you do thoughtful product design.
Deepinder Goyal’s team is doing some seriously great work 👏
Amazon & Flipkart feel like marketplaces.
Blinkit feels like a product designed for humans.
Fast flows, clear actions, zero cognitive overload.
This is what modern UI/UX should look like.
We have introduced parental controls on the Blinkit app.
You can now go into your profile and hide sensitive items behind a PIN and also set up a recovery phone number. This will allow younger ones in the family to browse the app without seeing any age inappropriate products.
Please share any feedback and also new suggestions on how to make the Blinkit app more usable for the entire family.
Today, we hosted our first Access-Ability Conclave at Eternal. The objective was to gather feedback on the Zomato and Blinkit apps from the visually challenged community and share our plan to make our products more accessible and inclusive.
We listened, observed and tried to understand everything we can do better. We're extremely thankful to everyone who took the time to give us their inputs - we promise to do better in the future.
If you are working on, building or enabling accessible digital products, and think that we can help or collaborate, please reach out via DM's or at [email protected]
A few months ago, Blinkit Ambulances started quietly in Gurugram with just 5 ambulances and a dream. What if emergency help could reach you in 10 minutes, just like groceries?
This is one of the hardest and the most resource intensive challenges we have ever taken up. But we are not backing down.
We started with 5 ambulances at the beginning of the year in Gurugram and currently, we have 12. From serving a small area around Golf Course Road, we have now extended the service to cover almost half of Gurugram.
Until today, we have responded to 594 calls, 50% of these critical emergencies. Today, our 12 ambulances across 6 depots reach patients within 10 minutes, 83% of the time.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
Behind every number, every case, is a human being and their family. Moments of fear and hope, desperation and relief.
We discovered how hesitant people still are to call an ambulance, even in critical moments. Many prefer personal cars or cabs, afraid help won’t arrive on time.
We learned how difficult it is to find and train paramedics who can deliver not just medical aid, but empathy when it matters most. Our team is now building an in-house paramedic training program to raise the bar of emergency care in India.
Blinkit Ambulances isn’t just a project. It’s a responsibility we carry close to our hearts. It’s tough, it’s emotional, and it’s still Day 1.
We’re learning. We’re committed. And we won’t stop until every single person trusts that life-saving help is only 10 minutes away.
Has Blinkit Ambulances helped you, or your near and dear ones? We would love to hear your story – will serve as fuel for us and the Ambulances team to keep going.

Introducing Bistro - Blinkit’s new 10 minute food offering. Bistro is a new app, outside of Blinkit and Zomato. This service is currently live across a few locations in Gurugram to help us find product market fit.
With @bistrobyblinkit we will offer our customers high quality, canteen type food, delivered hot in 10 minutes. We believe high quality food that is more accessible has the potential to induct more customers into “outside of home” food consumption. To achieve this, we are innovating on the entire food supply chain with Bistro. At Bistro, no preservatives or food processors are used in preparing the food, nor is it microwaved processed food. Instead we are investing in infrastructure and R&D to create tasty dishes within 5 minutes or less.
We have partnered with a number of companies innovating in the food industry to make this happen and will continue to support the ecosystem.
