Development of Forest Dash https://t.co/lAIYZ7RBXa - A summary dashboard that monitors forests canopy density, forest type, land cover and forest availability for listed forests in East Africa.
Components:
Dataset Config - switch between datasets, set country and forest of interest, configure additional parameters
Map - shows active dataset from the tabs section. Click, pan, zoom & identify data
Analysis - Graphs and time series depending on the layer, date & area
All in all, I am not biased to any Javascript framework and would gladly use either of them.

What #100DaysOfCode in #VueJS as a #ReactJS GIS Developer have taught me (Part 1)
Drought Dash https://t.co/RftVsBnhsy - dashboard summarising drought situation in East Africa. Provides interactive UI to analyse drought related information for desired time and area of interest
Lessons learnt:
4. As weird as it sounds, VueJS made me understand ReactJS concepts more. If by any chance you have tried to learn React JS and it can't seem to sink in, I'd recommend you to have a look at VueJS then come back to ReactJS๐คญ

๐ก๏ธ Nineteen of the hottest years have occurred since 2000, with the exception of 1998, which was helped by a very strong #ElNino. The year 2020 tied with 2016 for the hottest year on record since record-keeping began in 1880.
