ZFA President @jeremyleibler was asked by Commissioner The Honourable Virginia Bell AC SC about what she described as the “difficult line” between delegitimising Israel and the views of those who are critical of Israel’s actions.
Jeremy’s response was clear and must be shared!
Urgent: how to help save a young protester’s life.
I cannot believe how many years we’ve had to recycle this dystopian practice. God, when will it end? #ErfanSoltani
BREAKING: Reuven Morrison (62), who emigrated from the former Soviet Union, has been confirmed killed in the shooting at the Hanukkah party in Bondi Beach.
Last year, he spoke to the media about rising antisemitism in Australia, saying he “knew what it was like to be persecuted.”
He is survived by his wife, daughter, and grandchildren.
May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️
Rabbi Eli Schlanger wrote this warning after the attack on a Manchester synagogue left two dead.
The British-born rabbi, who lived in Australia, said the terror attack should be a ‘wake up call’.
It wasn’t heeded. Earlier today he was one of 12 killed at Bondi Beach.
Hold your family closer. Am Israel Chai.
Two AFL clubs in WA. One club captain had a catchup with an opposing coach. The other captain endorsed a Hamas-loving band. Which one convened a press conference to apologise?
This is the last time Shiri Bibas and her two babies, Kfir and Ariel, were seen—dragged away by Hamas terrorists on October 7. A mother brutally separated from her husband and clutching their children as they were stolen from their home.
I will never forget seeing this on that horrific day, nor will I forget all the vile people so blinded by their hatred of Israel and their need to glorify Hamas as ‘freedom fighters’ that they watched this and had the audacity to say, ‘They’re treating her well’—as if parading a kidnapped mother and her babies was an act of mercy.
These privileged Western terror apologists are just as guilty as Hamas, and I will never forgive them.
Bring them home. NOW.
The people who returned an anonymous body as a hostage are the same ones the entire international media, academia, and political establishments have counted on to report on war casualties and state of affairs.
Let that sink in.
I blame Hamas.
I blame the “Free Palestine” crowd in the West.
I blame the UN, who stayed silent for 16 months before finally issuing a weak, meaningless statement.
I blame the Red Cross, who waited 16 months before quietly acknowledging something was wrong.
I blame everyone who ripped down Kfir and Ariel’s posters.
I blame all of you: the monsters and their enablers.
Your silence, your indifference, and your applause allowed Hamas to continue for 503 days too long, leading to a grotesque and shameful ceremony where 4 murdered hostages were handed over to the world.
Daphna Liel: A Few Words About Oded Lifshitz, Who Was Abducted at Age 84
“Oded arrived in Nir Oz with the second Nir Oz group, a few months after his wife, Yocheved, who had come with the first group.
Their eldest son, Arnon, was the first child born in Kibbutz Nir Oz.
Yocheved and Oded had four children – Arnon, Yizhar, Sharon, and Omri.
Oded held many roles in the kibbutz, serving as secretary, farmer, and treasurer. In the early 1980s, he turned to journalism and wrote for Al HaMishmar and other newspapers for many years.
For six decades, Oded was an active advocate for peace. Together with Yocheved, he worked to promote minority rights and a just resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
He played the piano and loved performing Israeli folk songs and French chansons. Among other things, he taught his grandchildren and other children in the kibbutz how to play.
The cactus garden they nurtured with love endured throughout their 63 years of marriage.
On the morning of October 7, 2023, terrorists broke into their home. Oded and Yocheved locked themselves inside the house and the safe room. Oded held onto the door handle, but the terrorists shot at the door, injuring him in the hand.
After his identification, Oded was added to the heartbreaking list of Nir Oz’s elderly members who were kidnapped alive and murdered in captivity.
So far, the only male elder from Nir Oz to return alive is Gadi Moses.”
Ariel Bibas was not on this Earth for nearly long enough.
How can we even eulogize this poor child, when he didn't have enough time to come into his own?
He liked superheroes and his kindergarten classmates. He loved his dog and he liked playing.
Would he have been a quiet man? Or would he be the light in every room? Would he be known as the smartest, the most athletic, the friendliest, the kindest?
We'll never know. He will always be little Ariel. A child barely out of infancy.
He deserved more time.
May his memory be a blessing.
Kifr Bibas will never take his first steps or say his first words.
Hamas has stolen every experience he was ever going to have. His entire life.
He didn't even get his first birthday.
The only hope I can have is that he died in his mother's arms, knowing only of her love.
But that doesn't fix the fact that he never had any real memories at all.
Kfir was not the first baby to be killed for being a Jew, but my hope is that he will be the last.
May his memory be a blessing. His short, blessed memory.
I’m so disgusted by what I just witnessed. In Amsterdam, Israelis & Jews leaving a soccer match were beaten unconscious by mobs, thrown in the river, and forced to say “free Palestine.” This is the direct result of normalizing antisemitism post Oct. 7, where the most flagrant acts of Jew-hatred were cast aside as just “bleeding hearts who are against the war.”
Remind me again how these are all just kind people who care about humanity.
If you can’t bring yourself to speak up now—after failing the Jewish community for the past year with silence and/or by insisting that “globalize the intifada” was anything other than a dogwhistle to harass Jews around the world—you have no right to call yourself a humanitarian.
Some background. As a Dutch Jew 🇳🇱, here's what I grew up with: football hooligans singing "we're hunting for Jews", or "Hamas Hamas, all Jews on Gas". They're classics. Our synagogues are walled 3x times over. We go nowhere without guards. I'm more concerned tourists didn't know
Sinwar bought his wife, Samar, what looks to be a $32,000 Birkin bag while his regime left the majority of his population struggling to make ends meet. Yet he’s considered a Palestinian hero in the West?
Make it make sense.
