Lions 2025 medical curiosities RANKED
(Absolutely no implied blame on medical or player. We just don't get all the info.) Let me know if I'm missing any...
#1 FRANK RAGNOW - Comes out of retirement in late November and is found to have a grade 3, season-ending, hamstring injury that ends his season before it begins. When did hamstring occur? Is he going to need surgery? Is he playing next year?
#2 JOSH PASCHAL - Unspecified back surgery in offseason. Placed on NFI which itself is curious. Opens 21d practice window in Nov. Seems fully on track to return with FP on a walkthru towards end of window. Then suddenly 2x NP and not activated. Was he hurt severely on walkthru? Did he retire? Did Lions decide he wasn't good enough to help team?
#3 LEVI ONWUZURIKE - Season-ending ACL repair in offseason after signing 1-year contract. DC stated injury actually started last season. How much did Lions know? Did he aggravate ACL after signing?
#4 TERRION ARNOLD - Shoulder reported to be probably season-ending. Then after further opinions, avoids IR and returns to play after missing only 2 games.
#5 MARCUS DAVENPORT - Injured in week 2. Listed with shoulder, then chest, then back to shoulder again. Missed 2.5mo. Reported as pec strain but does he also have separate shoulder injury?
#6 KERBY JOSEPH - Unspecified left knee issue in training camp. New injury or aggravation of knee in Week 4. Aggravates in Week 6, barely able to walk off field but returns to game. Then missed next 6 games and counting.
This is me letting my emotions talk, but this Lions team does not look like they have what it takes to make a run in the playoffs. Hurts me to watch them right now.
Goff: "He jumped offside, I told him he jumped offside, he said I know. Idk why he was so excited about jumping offside, but he was. And that was before they punched Saint in the face, so I can’t wait to see Louis Riddick break that one down for us this week on Turning Point." 😲
Hey @NFLFilms y’all wanna post a bunch of BS and then won’t stand on business? Feel free to go into a deeper dive in some of the other storylines. #soft
