What I want to know is…
when will Mr Dey have 100% of his pay witheld? Because he certainly isn’t doing his job right now.
Our lecturers should not still be in this position 3 YEARS down the line!
Scottish college Principals enjoy being the highest paid of their kind in the UK. Many earning more than @ScotGovFM@10DowningStreet but @CollEmployScot has nothing to say about their obscene remuneration packages & recent rises whilst, lecturers have had zero pay rise in 3 years
@jamiemcbbc@EISFela strikes will go ahead in the next weeks across all of Scotlands Colleges. No pay rise since 2021. Are the communities and workers in colleges worthy of some attention…
EIS General Secretary Andrea Bradley said, "Our members continue to stand firm in displaying their strong and unwavering commitment to industrial action in pursuit of a fair pay settlement from college employers."

Would be good if @scotgov @GraemeDeyMSP announced investment in working class education as part of "War on Poverty" instead of cuts to budgets/jobs/courses/places across Scotland's college sector How come you never have anything to say about that? #judgemeonmyrecordineducation
Lecturers across Scotland aware of @CollEmployScot offer, were balloted. Here's the response 67% in favour of continuing strike action. 71% in favour of continuing ASOS in pursuit of a better offer
Will you improve your offer now or have you suddenly lost interest in democracy?

Please make sure you dont miss the deadline to post away your ballot, we are recommending to post by Friday 19th July to guarantee arrival before the ballot closes on Monday. #FightingforFE
Seriously, Chris? Years of slashing working class education, boasting of using cuts in FE to pay for other 'priorities' won't convince many in college sector we're any safer in your hands #judgemeonmyrecordineducation
No John, you've been devaluing college staff & students & comparing us unfavourably to others. You try to divide education into deserving/less deserving & do your constituents a disservice in process. Go spend a week working in FE then, start talking about the many roles we fill
This is essential viewing. The Tory party chairman is arguably the second most important campaigner for the Conservatives. Here he is supposed to be answering questions on behalf of all broadcasters. Naturally we wanted to know how he secured a safe seat for himself without giving Tory members any kind of say. Listen to his answer
EIS Assistant Secretary David Belsey gave evidence today on FE at Scottish Parliament, "We're fighting for FE to maintain its ambition, its scope and its positive impact on people's lives, but others need to also prioritise it and it's simply not being prioritised."
He brazenly lied to @covidinquiryuk about "losing" all those WhatsApps.
Now he's brazenly lied on national TV.
He's Johnson, basically, with a glossy £700 million veneer.
I'm so utterly sick of these Trump-lite, devoid-of-integrity, grubby little political charlatans.
Thanjs Allan
With the full backing of our union, we will overcome the intransigence & union busting tactics of @CollEmployScot & @scotgov @GraemeDeyMSP
Stand up for working class education. It's now time to #judgemeonmyrecordineducation
No, Tommy. All roads lead to YOUR colleague @GraemeDeyMSP office & he's been gaslighting us for a long time now. If @theSNP lose support/votes of FE staff, students & their families, you'll know who to blame. But, it might be too late by then! #judgemeonmyrecordineducation
