I deleted both my Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Then I realized something:
Many local businesses don’t even have websites anymore.
They rely entirely on centralized platforms that gatekeep their content.
If you can’t log in to Facebook or Instagram, you can’t even see basic information about them.
My goodness… the internet is so broken I can’t even explain it.
Tempo has taught me two things:
1) It's really easy to launch a blockchain if you only use a single block proposer
2) If you pay people enough they will abandon their principles
Socrates in 460 BC: “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Marcus Aurelius in 150 CE: “You have power over your mind—not outside events.”
Augustine of Hippo in 400 CE: “Do not go outside; return into yourself. In the inward man dwells the truth.”
Marc Andreessen in 2026:
After another condescending model and a condescending reply from the CISO of OpenAI, I have permanently and irrevocably deleted my OpenAI account.
For context, I was using GPT-2 back when they were still open source, training GPT-2 to unscramble sentences.
Then I was on their forums teaching people to finetune GPT-3. Building cognitive architectures before "agents" were a thing.
This company is rotten from the top, and they are not improving.
I am done. Enough is enough.
Such a relief to have Sam Altman's promise that he'd never facilitate mass surveillance. He has an incredible track record of keeping his promises, so we should all feel really good about this.
Sam Altman is such an incredible backstabber, liar and traitor.
While your competitor is taking a heroic and principled stand, you swoop in to make your deal. Imagine working for this guy - is there a greater shame?
This should lead to a mass exodus from OpenAI.
@0xQuit Did that session start at 4:09 a.m? I think openclaw used to inject dynamic timestamp in system prompt, but it caused cache invalidation so may just use static session start timestamp now. Ideally, it would use a tool to get the current time for time sensitive commands like this
sam, in 2022 you stole our money
we tried to get our money off your exchange, and you refused to give it
ultimately we had $76.8 million that you effectively stole from us
you did this to thousands of others too and later we learned you had used the money to make personal investments
stealing, misusing, misappropriating your clients money for your own personal benefit is the worst crime in finance
you’re a pathological liar and thief, you knew what you were doing, and you deserve prison just like you got
@MRBullMktEver@prestigegroup01 Oh, you realize that "there are countries where this is common"
So how come you finished with "The only reason you'd care about self custody of an asset is if you're a criminal and you're afraid your assets will be frozen. Why else would you care?"
@itsalfredw "Introducing Claude Code for research." - @claudeai is this product related to Claude Code? If not, then taken as read, this seems like a highly misleading introduction.
