@mathowie Also Matt, I'm sure you already know, and this post is in jest, but Snopes thoroughly debunked the headlight gang initiation urban legend, although it keeps popping back up over and over: https://t.co/tleeNMOYML
@mathowie I do find it funny that we're no longer in control of our headlights. I have to do the rough equivalent of level 30 of Simon Says/Bop It (depending on your vintage) in my Honda Odyssey to get the lights to stay off while the car is running (i.e. at a holiday light show).
As the parent of an often difficult 5yo, I sure hope this is true, but I have a feeling that there's some cosmic payback coming my way in their teenage years.
It's remarkable that in 2022, after suffering a humiliating defeat in 2020, and after inciting an insurrection, stealing top secret government documents, and committing untold other crimes that are under investigation, Donald Trump is getting 10-1 coverage over President Biden.
@kohenari I say the same thing about light rail in Kansas City. We've finally got one downtown that runs in a really small area, but definitely needs to be expanded to suburbs and surrounding areas, i.e. Lawrence, KS (40 miles away)
Not deleting my account here, but will be spending as little time on this platform as possible. Join me at https://t.co/udgENBduHt. @th3j35t3r runs a tight ship, with basically all of the things Musk promised for Twitter, and none of the BS that comes along with that, like Trump.
Every day the media says there is a "bombshell" Jan 6 story.
You know what they never say...
"Republican Senator or Congressman has been subpoenaed by the @January6thCmte..."
Not. One. Single. Republican. Lawmakers. Has. Been. Subpoenaed.
Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.
@mourning_star85 @jtwombly8 @JoshuaPotash By that regard, the purchase of Twitter can't possibly have anything to do with free speech because Twitter's current policies do not constitute the government silencing people.
